JTLYK 14 February
Dear Parents and Carers,
What a fabulous week we have had to end this half-term with: Fluffy, a science exhibition, and an internet safety celebration.
We were very proud of all the children who shared their knowledge and showed their understanding of the science topics we have been studying and exploring this half term. For Fluffy, the children had such a positive experience mixing with different year groups and trying out new arts, crafts and games. On Tuesday, we all zoomed into an interactive internet safety talk and we listened to how we can all keep ourselves safe from scams while using our devices.
In English, we have finished our biographies and looked closely at editing our work for precision and accuracy. In maths, we completed an evaluation checking our understanding of multiplication and fractions. The children have done so well on these two topics.
Next half term we will be starting our exciting new topic of the ancient civilisation of the Egyptians.
We hope you all have a well-deserved break, but encourage your children to follow the wonderful advice of Stephen Hawking and ‘keep looking up at the stars and not down at your feet!’
