22 July 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a wonderful way to end the term! From the joyful final assemblies to the Year 6 barbecue and disco, and our busy Celebration Afternoon, these past few days have been a true reflection of our flourishing school community and a fantastic academic year.

We are incredibly proud of every single child, and we want to give special recognition to our leavers—particularly our Year 6 pupils, who are now ready to begin an exciting new chapter at secondary school, as well as those leaving from other year groups. We send you off with our warmest wishes and prayers that you’ll carry the HTPD values with you: embracing the future with hope and confidence. Please stay in touch—we’d love to hear about your next adventures!

Today, we also said a heartfelt goodbye and thank you to staff members Louise Keiller, Tracey Jerrome, Ellie Jackson, Tilly Cray, Claire Furlonger-Camp, who will not be returning from maternity leave. Their dedication and service have meant so much to our school, and I’m sure you will join me in wishing them all the very best for the future.

On behalf of the entire staff team, I want to express how much we’ve appreciated your kind words, generous gifts, heartfelt cards—and most of all, your continued support throughout the year. You play such an important role in our school community and in our shared vision of ensuring that every child is learning to live. Thanks to your involvement, we see our school vision lived out every day across the whole school.

As I write this final newsletter of the academic year, I want to say a personal thank you for the warm welcome I’ve received in my first year at HTPD. It’s truly a privilege to be part of such a special community.

We’re already looking forward to what September will bring—another year of learning, growth, and joy. Until then, I wish you all a restful, peaceful, and happy summer holiday.

Best wishes,

Vicky
