Clubs Plus and Breakfast Club on ParentPay
- Clubs attendances during May are now fully logged on ParentPay (opening balances at the end of April were loaded into the system). We will not be sending out monthly Clubs invoices as before, so if your child uses these Clubs, please do activate your ParentPay account in order to check attendances and see the balance owing (even if paying by vouchers or other method). If you need a copy of your activation logins, please contact Lesley – finance@holytrinity.surrey.sch.uk

ParentPay Tip - Please save the school considerable resources in payment chasing by setting your FREE email low balance reminder in your ParentPay account (it is only text reminders that are charged). When in your account, click on the Communications tab and set the low balance reminders for each service used by your child. When your credit falls below the level you set, you will receive an email reminder. Thanks very much in advance for this help!
Reminder: So far lunches and afterschool clubs are payable on ParentPay. Other items such as trips will be added in the next academic year. Thanks.

*Date Change* Quiz Night! Saturday, 21st June at 7.30pm at Holy Trinity
- Come along and pit your wits against the brightest and best brains of Guildford in our Quiz Night. Once again the questions have been set by that master of all things quizzical Michael Tame (Geraldine's other half) and if you have been to one of these before then you know it promises to be a really fun night out, and also will raise money for the school. Tickets are £5 each and will be on sale from Monday 9th June from HT Office. Teams must be a maximum of 8 and the format is that you bring and share food for your own table, drinks will be on sale from the bar. We aim to finish at 10.30pm. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE due to a clash with the Year 3 sleepover!

Tag Rugby - We enjoyed a great festival this week at Christ's College. It was lovely to see so many teams participating from across Guildford and children enjoying their sport. Our year 5 team came third overall with a spectacular try in the dying minutes of the game to secure a win. The Year 6's came fifth overall really getting into their stride in the last two matches. Well done to everybody involved.

School Cups - We are fast approaching that time of year when we need to gather in the cups and awards from last year's recipients in order that we can prepare for the end of this year. We would really appreciate it if you could return them to the school office, thanks.

Sainsbury's Vouchers - Huge thanks to everyone for all of the vouchers that you have collected for the school. They are always well used for both sports equipment and cooking equipment for the children's cooking sessions and make a big difference to our resources. If you have any vouchers hiding in your purse or wallet please dig them out and drop them in the box at reception as we will shortly be doing our order.

Dates for the Diary

Phil the Bag – 16-19th June

Summer Fair Friday 4th July

Summer Fair - Over the next week, please encourage your children to enter our "Design a logo" competition to advertise the fair. The theme this year is the football World Cup. We would like the logo to be encompassed within a circle and to be bright and eye-catching. Please use felt tip pens and don't forget to put your name on your entry. You can get an entry form from the office. The overall winner will win a Sports Direct voucher and there will be other prizes for the winner in each year group. Please hand entries into the office by Thursday 12 June. Looking forward to seeing the children's creativity.

Summer Fair - Our Summer Fair planning is well under way and we are going with a WORLD CUP theme this year!

Two of our major fundraisers at the fair are the Raffle and Bag A Bargain and we usually have many wonderful prizes donated by local companies. However, having just asked for donations for the March Ball and the Christmas Fair we do not want to approach the same businesses again.
So we are asking if you would help us: When you are out and about please consider picking up a voucher to donate to the Fair. Some examples: any local restaurants, clothing stores, garden centres, coffee shops, Curry's PC World, B&Q, Sports Direct, Spectrum passes, Wildwood Adventure, Air Hop, Craggy Island, Legoland, Thorpe Park, just to list a few ideas! Any amount would be greatly appreciated - smaller ones could be packaged together if needed, so please don't feel any donation is too small. Alternatively, if you are able to give a monetary donation we could then purchase prizes. Again, all donations would be gratefully accepted and can be handed in at the office.
As part of the Summer fair we like to have a good range of EXTERNAL STALLS at the fair. Do you know anyone who has their own business or hobby that might like a stall at the fair. If so please get them to email us at caroline@swifts.me.uk

Calling all running enthusiasts!!
A local mum lost her son in 2011 to a brain tumor. He was 16 years old. Since then she has worked tirelessly to raise money for an early brain tumor detection scanner. In the first year she raised £85k. She is currently organising a 5 mile trail course in Haselmere on the 21st June and would be enormously grateful if any runners could bear this in mind.
